The exhibition The experience
Explore the history, science and technology of flight including the important role played by local pioneers, at the new, exciting and interactive exhibition at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.
| Booking information: | Groups wishing to visit the exhibition should book in advance. |
| Visit duration: | Booked visits to the exhibition last approximately one hour. |
| Group sizes: | Each session may accommodate classes a maximum of 30 students. |
| Suitability: | The exhibition provides an opportunity to explore a wide range of topics from the history, science and technology areas of the national curriculum for key stages 2, 3 and4. |

£3.75 per student*. Teachers/leaders free. *(Price includes admission to all other areas of the Museum). Includes an introduction to the X2 Flight Experience exhibition, a multimedia presentation on the history and development of flight and exploration of the interactive exhibits plus a thrilling ride on the full motion flight simulator. The full motion flight simulator is suitable for all age groups. Children under 105 cms tall must be accompanied by an adult. Please note this is a ‘dynamic motion simulator’ and persons with the following conditions are advised not to ride: back or neck problems; claustrophobia or motion sickness; heart disease and associated conditions; women who are heavily pregnant; any person wishing to ride should be able to hold onto the safety grab rail and be physically capable of entering and exiting the simulator without assistance.
